A Recruitment Services Provider (Agent) is a registered business organization chosen by the family that has referred the student to the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ to study and is providing initial and on-going support services to the student/family. For the service provider to be eligible for commissions, they must be an approved provider to Grand Erie by way of an agreement.

The following is a brief outline of expectations and responsibilities of a Recruitment Service Provider (Agent). Obtain the sample Agreement for further details.
The Recruitment Service Provider (Agent) shall:
- Provide the services in an honest, competent and professional manner;
- Communicate with Grand Erie through Grand Erie’s Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Business Development Officer or other designated representatives;
- Actively recruit applicants as potential Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Students for Grand Erie;
- Agree, at its own expense, to direct sufficient resources and content to advertise, market and promote Grand Erie;
- Assist in the preparation of and submit all completed application packages (including non-refundable application fees, application forms, and tuition fees) to Grand Erie as well as assist with the preparation and translation of English language versions of student transcripts;
- Assist and advise Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Students of the process to obtain a valid Study Permit or other required visa from the Government of Canada;
- Advise Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Students of their obligation to follow the Provincial Code of Conduct (Ontario) for school communities, and other applicable student codes of conduct.
- Ensure that Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Students who will be attending a Grand Erie school have all immunizations required In Ontario;
- Co-operate and provide assistance in arranging living accommodations;
- Ensure that all Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Students under the age of 18, have a local Custodian, committed by way of agreement;
- If using homestay families not assigned by Grand Erie's designated homestay provider, ensure that such homestay families obtain criminal vulnerable sector background checks where any Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Student will be staying,
- Arrange for all necessary non-academic services required for and by Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Students, including, but not limited to:
(i) travel arrangements and airport transfers;
(ii) adequate precautions taken in respect of the health and safety of each Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Student while travelling;
- If not using the homestay services of Grand Erie's designated homestay provider, ensure that each Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Student has adequate medical insurance while in Canada;
- Continue throughout the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Student’s stay to facilitate contact between Grand Erie and the parents, custodian and homestay provider.
